This is one of my favourite photos taken by my son, when on holiday with our family in Austria. It’s such a beautiful, clear and sunny day and it reminds me of how wonderful and peaceful the world can be with its breathtaking nature and scenery. Looking at it makes me very happy and is like a celebration of life to me. It also symbolises my journey towards the top of the mountain, while enjoying every step of the way.

From Ghita: Many thanks for your comments Jayne. No, I am from Denmark, but we went on a skiing holiday to Austria in December 2008 with my family from Denmark. The mountains are so beautiful in winter but apparently also in the summer, where they are covered with grass and flowers. I have posted the full picture, as it was captured, and shows the view from the veranda of the apartment.
