I read your blog with very interests about Tenby International School which is very useful to me to understand the school.

Our family moved to Malaysia about 5 years ago and my daughter started to be educated from reception in Penang. I am already retired and think about living in relax and education for my daughter in English. Malaysia is very safe country compered with other countries surrounding and also for education specially in language
it is good country to her. Additionally, the culture is not so different from our country , Japan.

We really enjoy our lives in Penang Malaysia.

However, in Penang there is not good secondery school which I like to send my daughter. She is now Y5 at St.Christoper
International Primary school which school is very high level standard in Penang.

But, this school has no secondary school, only primary school, so I am in headache what to do.

There is also Tenby International School in Penang but no good facilities, not like TIS in KL.

Totally thinking, after primary in Penang, we would like to move to KL and let my daughter to send to Tenby International School. She is still Y5 and we have about two more years to be moved. And I am thinking to visit the school next August asking to her space at TIS.

Regarding the space at TIS, I concern how present situation for students to go from secondery. And also I want to know
how many classes for each year they have.

Also, from secondery, from Y7, how many students do they take?

Those information will be in secret and unable to get through home page. Maybe,
only parents who already send the children
know it at detailes.

I would be very appreciated if you could send me the informations about the above.

Thanking for your kind answer in advance,
we remain,

Best Regards

From Ghita: Dear Takeshi Yano, many thanks for reading my blog and I am glad you find it interesting and useful. I am sorry to hear that you have to consider relocation because of the lack of good choices for secondary schools in Penang. As you can read, we are very happy with Tenby International School in Shah Alam. They have many nice and dedicated teachers and my children enjoy going to school every day, as they have many interesting activities that they like participating in.

Anyways, as I am just a parent I don't have all the details and may not have the right information with regard to your questions, so I suggest that you contact Ms Mala, who is the registrar for TIS to direct your questions to her. Her email address is mala@tenby.edu.my. I am sure you will get some useful answers from her.

Best wishes and good luck

Ghita
